Horse Heaven Hills
The 2015 vintage was HOT, HOT, HOT! Following a mild winter, the growing season started in late March with early heat and vine development. The hot temperatures continued until harvest which was about 2 weeks earlier than usual. Although abnormally hot the vines produced beautiful fruit. The Phinny Hill Cabernet was harvested on September 25th, the Gunselman Bench on September 28th and October 5th and McKinley Springs on October 7th. The wines have intense flavors, beautiful color & excellent balance.

This wine was aged in 75% French oak and 25% American oak for 23 months, 100% of the oak was new. The ideal consumption is 2 to 5 years from release date, but this wine will develop for another 5-7 years. The alcohol by volume is 14%. This wine was bottled July 2017.
