Horse Heaven Hills
The 2014 growing season started with early heat and vine development. High heat throughout the summer promoted vine stress, with final ripening occurring in late September under ideal conditions. The 2014 wines are absolutely amazing. The wines have intense flavors, beautiful color & excellent balance.

18+/20 Rand Sealey, Review of Washington Wines This blend of 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 15% Cabenet Franc, 15% Malbec and 8% Petit Verdot offers a deep ruby color and attractive aromas of raspberry, cherry plum, rosebuds, tobacco and cedar. The flavors, as well, are appealing, with fleshy medium bodied red fruits that are imbued with licorice, cocoa, French roast and earth. The chewy textured back picks up roasted nuts, toffee, dried cherries, light oak (30% new) and graphite, followed by a moderate tannin and acid finish. Well put together, which gives it a plus.
